Chemical Safety
Students should never smell, taste or touch any chemical unless explicitly instructed to do so by the instructor.
Students should treat all chemicals as dangerous.
They should never return excess chemicals to the original container, because this can cause contamination.
Students should not drain chemicals down the sink unless the instructor permits them to; some chemicals must be disposed of differently.
